Dr. Cusick performs breast augmentation in a very cost-effective manner, with state-of-the-art FDA approved breast implants. You can choose between the latest saline or silicone filled implants.
The procedure is done in our fully accredited outpatient facility, under the care of a board certified anesthesiologist and a fully trained nursing staff.
About Breast Implants
Both saline and silicone implants can provide natural and appealing results. During your consultation, Dr. Cusick will guide you through differences such as implant cost, implant profile, surgical technique, and other details.
Choosing the right breast implant size is very important. You will need to consider several factors, such as your body proportions, personal preferences, and how much tissue you have to cover the implant.
Before and After Breast Augmentation
There are a few different techniques used during breast augmentation. Small surgical incisions are made to insert the implant beneath the tissue. These incisions can be located underneath the breast, in the underarm, areola, or the navel.
Do you offer financing for breast surgery?
We offer many convenient financing options that make this life-changing procedure more affordable. Read more about MedLoan Finance and CosmetiCredit on our financing page.
Are there alternatives to breast augmentation?
If the breasts are sagging, you may need to consider a breast lift as well. In some cases, the lift and augmentation can be performed during the same operation. Dr. Cusick can guide you through these decisions and make sure you are informed of all the possible alternatives and options.
How long is recovery after breast augmentation?
A recovery period of 24 to 48 hours is common, followed by a reduced-activity period of a few days. You will likely experience soreness and swelling for a few weeks. Exercise and normal activity can resume depending on Dr. Cusick's recommentations. Over time, swelling will decrease and incision lines will fade.
What are the risks of breast augmentation?
The risks of breast augmentation include: scarring, hematoma, infection, poor healing, changes in sensation, capsular contracture, implant rupture, skin wrinkling over the implant, anesthesia risks, fluid accumulation, blood clots, pain, deep vein thrombosis, cardiac and pulmonary complications, and need for revision surgery.
